ABOUT US
From a small idea turning in a student's head in 2004 to one of the most visited websites in Lebanon in 2006 (According to Alexa.com), Vcoderz.com is the reflection of a way of life, a way of life which is all about the Lebanese spirit that creates unconditional fun from everything and everywhere. It all started as a website dedicated to programming and tutorials and through the days the site was expanded and as we speak it includes various topics ranging from computer world to Lebanese social, entertainment and political life.
History
Early 2004: Launch of VcoderS.com website with 25 Megabytes of space by Xcoder, Head of Vcoderz Team.
June 2004: Due to high and unexpected traffic, Vcoders had to switch to a new host of 500 Megabytes of space in parallel with the launch of Vcoders Community including many forums.
Early 2005: The saga continues: more traffic, more data, more fans. Vcoders switched once again to a larger host of 5 Gigabytes. Our community included 300 members.
Mid 2005: The requests of our fans were increasing day by day, the Vcoderz Team had no choice but to switch to its first large host of 50 Gigabytes of space and 500 Gigabytes of Bandwidth not to forget the switch from basic Html to PHP.
06-06-2006: The demons interfered in our way of life...The website was shutdown due to technical problems but the spirit remained: We shall be back!
27-07-2006: After weeks of work to backup what was lost, Vcoders was back again as VcoderZ.com with 20 Gigabytes of space as PHP/SQL Basic website.
14-03-2007: As promised by the VcoderZ Team headed by Xcoder, the biggest upgrade ever: New Php/MySql professional website made more practical and supported by 100 Gigabytes of space in offshore servers. About 3000 members and increasing each and every minute, the community is getting bigger and bigger.
Goals:
