Honeycutt is a powerful fronline player, with good hands and nice shooting touch, even if he is maybe too much confident from behind the 3-pts range, He got the award of Best Center in Japan in two seasons (2005-2006 & 2006-2007), And Import of the year award in FIBA Europe Cup when he was a part of the russian team Avtodor Saratov, He also played in NBA (Seasons 1997-1998 & 1998-1999), Puerto Rico (Seasons 2000, 2002 & 2003), Russia (Season 2000-2001 & 2003-2004), Greece (Season 2001-2002), South Korea (Season 2004-2005) and Philippines (Seasons 2002 & 2004).
While Ron Hale is smooth and athletic player who can play the big guard and small forward positions; a deadly shooter with NBA 3-point range who also has the quickness and ball handling ability to drive to the basket; can run the floor with ease and finish on the break; has a long body and excellent leaping ability; a solid defender who can rebound and block shots.
Hale who had played in Japan since season 2001-2002 was chosen as defenseive player of the year in Japanese Superleague this season, Adding to his excellent career in Portugal when he was awarded as Play-offs MVP in season 2000-2001 when he was a player in Portugal Telecom Lisbona.
