I read somewhere that they tried it on some insects and animals and it worked, but as i remember and if not mistaken it was on different temperature than the cryonics uses ...

Actually there is a diffrence between clinically dead and brain dead ...
and they were accurate by saying
clinically dead (not brain dead) meaning heart stopped beating and lungs stopped breathing ... and this happens all the time and the person is rescued by simple CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) ... here the person if he was clinically dead still have a chance if we acted rapidly ...
the concept of cryonics doesn't go far away from this ... let's say a person with some sort of end stage disease (cancer for eg) was cardiac arrested ... we can resuscitate him and he lives for hours, days, weeks, etc ... but eventually he will die from this disease ... if that person was freezed at time of his clinical death and then later on they discovered a treatment for his cancer, he will be totally cured
Eno it's not about raising the deads and doing miracles other wise they could dig any grave and freeze any cadavre ... the most important thing is that the brain to be preserved at that time
Thank You ...
