Default Re: Video Editing

i may suggest :
adobe after effects
adobe premiere
Watermark maker ( go search it , it's made only to put the watermarks or logos on the videos )

about the quality : it's up to you :::
1) uncompressed .avi = .audio Video Interleave with no compression = highest quality

2) .avi with compression mpeg1(VCD or SVCD) and mpeg2(VCD or SVCD) and mpe4(DVD) = good enaugh to be rolled on the TV or even on the cinema screen ( DVD has the highest quality )

3) frame rate will affect the quality , in fact :

NTSC = 30 frames per second = ( video tapes and all cinema production system)
PAL = 24.97 ( or 25 ) frame per second = not interleaved BUT scanlined with odd and even fields ( TV shows acause of the TV frequencies )

while the Previews and the others quik videos may have only 15 frame per second ( the half size of the original NTSC )
