I agree with all who say that we should not be celebrating too much. We should be mourning the 150 Martyrs.
But it is a victory though, a victory against these two political groups in Lebanon that did their best to prolong the conflict:
- Those who want to weaken/dismantle the Military so that they can justify the re-creation of a right winged militia.
- Another group that wanted these Extremist/Wahabi Sunnites to become strong, also weaken the Army, and become a catalyst with Abdel Halim Khadam & the Sunni's of Syria to cause a series of coup's; and change the balance of power in the region.
Now I wait to see the reaction, and possible conflicts in other camps.
