Default Re: Hacking Challenge Rules And Suggestions

Ok guys...
I believe that a person learn fast when he see some practical examples...
Tayeb I want to ask,
did you looked at the solution?
Didn't you learned something after looking at the solutions?
Did you understand all the solution? If yes, then you can solve the challenges 9 and 7. If no, then why didn't you tell me... This thread is open for discussions...
The results of the challenges were like the following:

hack1 solved by: 10 persons.
hack2 solved by: 23 persons.
hack3 solved by: 19 persons.
hack4 solved by: 13 persons.
hack5 solved by: 4 persons.
hack6 solved by: 8 persons.
hack7 solved by: 9 persons.(till now)
hack8 solved by: 7 persons.(till now)

I noticed the difference... But I thought that some of you were bored and didn't want to participate...
In the challenges we talked about JavaScript injection (how to see the cookies, how to change a variable by injection...) so why some of you don't know how to inject JavaScript to change a cookie value instead of changing a variable value...
This is for example the case of the challenge number 7...
The things we mentioned in the other challenges and their solutions help you to solve the future challenges... For example the member Justified mentioned once the solution of hack8 in other challenge thread...

And yes, I want you to search... searching is the most important thing... we don't have to memorize everything... All these challenges can be solved if you search on google...
About the Unix challenge... It was just to tell you that rm deletes a file, chmod change the permission of a file, and how to use these commands... Let's say that someone don't know anything about Unix... he can search google by writing for example "Unix+delete file+command" and I'm sure that he will get the answer... And HIZBALLAH later put a tutorial about permissions which made this issue more clear...
It's ok if you didn't do a challenge... but did you learned something from this challenge so you can use it later in another challenge or in real life?... That's the question...
Sometimes if you know an information very well, it is hard to know the difficulties that others are facing toward it... You think that it is easy for them since it is easy for you... I'm trying my best to not go this way... and you have to tell every difficulty you are facing here in order for me to make things better...

I'll manage some tutorials later... you can call it classes or whatever...
