The education system has ofcourse served me, it is giving me the basics that i need so i can succeed in real life

Has Education done just enough or not enough?
It is not education that does enough or doesnt, it is us that do enough toward education so we can benifit the most...Ma Tit3a22ado:malak:

If we make the most out of our education, if we know how to take advantage of it, we will surely reach our dreams

Well without education, i couldn't have been the man i am today ...
so it served me in a way or another

But the question is: has education done just enough ? mmmmmmm i don't think so ... i mean usually guyz can't wait to graduate from university ... but i see many are just afraid to graduate and don't find jobs... i don't blame the education system ... but we are living in a country with limited opportunities and field of works ... that's the main problem we are facing

It's very disappointing and hard for a univ. grad. to feel useless and neglected

this educational system is a failure!!! they tend to make the studying years longer for many reasons...first the selling of books,yeh thats rite the books producers had a very powerfull loby to force this huge amount of studys we have...i mean look at usa , the studying there is half of ours!! , look at them and look at us ,whos more successfull....ya3ni bil 3arabi il mshabra7 haida killo 7ASHI ma3loomat,after some years ull 4get everything u studied!! its useless and stupid!!...

they did not teach us computer stuff
i believe that C++ can be taught in schools, believe me.
i dont know if it is being taught in schools somewhere in the world, but IT CAN BE!
did it serve me? not much, i'm french educated, and in an english uni.
and i think that we learn things in "civil education" or "tarbia" things that we never apply in our community..

The education did serve me and all of us,because one way or another,we wouldn't be who we are today without it
And I won't go as far as saying that it failed miserably but it has its weak points
For example,They teach students 567596743 different subjects,and the students end up not using half of them
Also,people tend to direct students towards specific jobs and fields.
Here comes the role of the unis to widen the students choices and knowledge about different jobs

The education simply sucks...
The total lebanese curriculum is a total mess, they just want to "ye7sho mo5 l telmiz"..
In lebanon we got some smartness among students, but the problem we have is boredom from the way lessons are taught

we must search for a better way to nwassil the idea for each and every student..
why not letting the students themselves explain the lessons, so they will get the idea better and they will deliver it in an easier way....
and why not having new subjects, such as C++, its great to teach it and its easy at the same time, and I recomend also PIC (programming integrated circuits) these two, and electronics, are very fun to learn, cz the student will learn good things in real world, not just abstract way....

these thing were tried in someplace.. and I was learning them there other than school, we took C++, and I learned how to make a simple program click here to check it out, and i learned electronics, I built 3 useful things: a lamp that lights in dark connected to a transformer, a flesher, and a small FM transmitter (still working on it )
