What do you think about the green party ? do u think it is affiliated to someone? well personally i like their objectives and im thinking of becoming a member very soon.
The objectives:

لبنان كنز طبيعي متوارث. تصونه دولة علمانية ديمقراطية حديثة. تعتمد سياسة التنمية المستدامة.

إعتبار المسائل البيئية جوهرية في المشهد السياسي والاحتماعي اللبناني والنضال لقيام نظام علماني وديمقراطي يهدف الى تنمية إجتماعية وإقتصادية تتناسب مع الإدارة الصحيحة للموارد الطبيعية.
هوية حزب الخضر اللبناني
حزب الخضر هو حزب بيئي، تنموي، علماني، ديمقراطي، عصري، يناضل من أجل أن يبقى لبنان كنزاً طبيعياً متوارثاً، تصونه دولة علمانية ديمقراطية متطورة، تعتمد سياسة التنمية المستدامة في كل مشاريعها الإقتصادية التنموية والإجتماعية.
يعتبر الحزب أن المسائل البيئية وإدارة مواردها قضية جوهرية ومصيرية وركيزة أساسية لمستقبل وديمومة لبنان واللبنانيين.
يعتبر الحزب أن "الأرض لا طائفة لها" وأن جميع اللبنانيين، رجالاً ونساءً، أطفالاً وشيوخاً معنيون بالحفاظ على هذا الإرث.
يضم حزب الخضر اللبناني أعضاءً من جميع المناطق اللبنانية، المقيمين والمغتربين، ومن أطياف وفئات وتيارات مختلفة تتلاقى حول مبادئ ونضال الحزب وتلتزم بها.
لماذا أصبح حزب الخضر اللبناني ضرورة وطنية؟
أصبح حزب الخضر اللبناني ضرورة وطنية ليبقى لبنان ويبقى الإنسان.
أصبح حزب الخضر اللبناني ضرورة وطنية ليصبح للطبيعة حُماتها، ولصحة الأجيال المقبلة مدافعون عنها. وليقف النزيف البيئي ويتم إصلاح ما يمكن إصلاحه.
أصبح حزب الخضر اللبناني ضرورة وطنية لييتم تفعيل وتأطير العمل البيئي ووضعه ضمن الأولويات السياسية.
أصبح حزب الخضر اللبناني ضرورة وطنية لتبقى العين ساهرة على وزارة البيئة لمساندتها ومساءلتها ومساندة ومساءلة الحكومات والوزارات الأخرى المعنية بالشؤون البيئية. ليصبح في لبنان سياسة بيئية وتنموية مستدامة، وليدخل الهم البيئي ضمن هموم الأحزاب والبرامج السياسية والحزبية. ولتفعيل دور الجمعيات البيئية وتطوير أدائها.
أصبح حزب الخضر اللبناني ضرورة وطنية لتفعيل الإعلام البيئي ومواكبة التطورات البيئية الدولية.
دور ومهمات حزب الخضر اللبناني:

• لوضع الأمور البيئية على جدول أعمال السياسيين والمسؤولين.
• لترويج الخيارات الملائمة وتسليط الضوء على الكلفة الإقتصادية والإجتماعية للتدهور البيئي.
• لتحسين تطبيق قانون "دراسة الأثر البيئي" لكافة المشاريع الإقتصادية والإنتاجية والإعمارية، ألخ.• للعمل على تصويب السياسات العامة باتجاه التنمية المستدامة وتطوير التشريعات والقوانين البيئية.

1- رصد وإبراز المشاكل البيئية وتشكيل قوة ضاغطة: 2- مساءلة ومساندة ومحاسبة وزارة البيئة والمؤسسات والوزارات الأخرى المعنية بالشؤون البيئية وتصويب أدائهم ودعمهم لتنفيذ قراراتهم الصائبة. 3- إبراز الحزب كمرجعية علمية وسياسية بيئية للعمل التشريعي والرقابي من خلال التعاون مع المراكز والمراصد العلمية وأهل الإختصاص. 4- تطوير الإعلام البيئي لتعميم المعرفة والوعي البيئي لدى الجمهور اللبناني ولتكوين رأي عام صديق للبيئة وفاعل ضد الإنتهاكات البيئية. والعمل على توفير المعلومات الموثوقة لوسائل الإعلام عن طريق شبكات تعاون واتصال مع المراصد البيئية والمؤسسات العلمية والمؤسسات الدولية المختصة. والقيام بحملات إعلامية وإعلانية تظهر المشاكل وتطرح الحلول. 5- رصد المخالفات والتعديات والتقصير في القضايا البيئية. 6- العمل على ترشيد استخدام الموارد الطبيعية وإبراز محدوديتها. 7- مواكبة الأمور البيئية في العالم العربي والغربي ليصبح الحزب عنصراً فاعلاً في شبكة الأحزاب الخضر في العالم. 8- إتخاذ مواقف ومبادرات تنسجم مع مباديء الحزب.

they signed an agreement with Kataeb on their Environmental , Amal is on the way to sign it too.

it is not political in the full sense,its main objectives is to tackle environmental problems, and its political aim is to achieve such goals by getting to the parliament. At least read what was written. Actually if u know who are the members in the Green Party, you'll be surprised.

Well if you're THAT interested in protecting the green lands of Lebanon then yeah why not, join the party, i think eventually all of us r with this party and none are against it since we all love the green lebanon we're famous for (enno bel niheyeh fi arzeh 3a 3alamna)

well interpreted, thanks, actually i hope its intentions are good too. and the unique thing is, no one disagrees as u said, since it is a party that includes all individuals.actually there is a plan about the kassarat.but now the best thing this party can do is to convince other parties to work on protecting the Environment and ecology.

well personally, i think such parties in Lebanon face a hard time to reach powerful positions in the government, cz kel wa7ad machghoul bi addeh fi yjib 3adad nouwweb possible. And i think that u cant actually see a party's true intentions ella eza 3tita power for some time to see if it'll actually DO something, bas other parties, larger ones, and more powerful ones, like the ones ruling now, bi ouloulak enno eh hek hek ne7na 7ekmin, don't worry, WE can fix the green lebanon problem we're facing, wa ella bi sir ma elna 3azeh eza la kel wizara ra7 yetla3 7ezeb..so fia w ma fia enno yetwafa2 hayda el 7ezeb, bas good luck w i hope it does reach somewhere or even someONE (as in politicians)
