usualy what you hear is "ne7na mich 3arab,we are phoenicians" or you hear"libnan balad zou wajeh 3arabi and not 3arabi, so we are not arabs "

I don't know why people make this distinction, not like we are better, we had more civil wars than other countries, we have one of the slowest internets and progress of all arab countries, we hanged a guy bi si5 la7mé to an electric poll not long ago, and we come in third rank worldwide in copyright crimes(after china and north korea I think)

edit: saying 3arabi men loubnan instead of lebanese would be a way to unite the arabs, making them slowly forget their individual countries
looking at the arab citizens, baleha a7san, syrians and egyptians and saudi arabians and lebanese don't get along, religious differences, w ta3assob, etc... we are better off as individual countries for now, each fighting for himself. we are Lebanese and arabs at the same time, but I stress on Lebanese
