Is Wrestling a sport?

So Guys there was a discussion in the previous threads about this.... do u think that Wrestling is a sport? if yes why if no why not?

tab3aaaaaan akeed akeeed :P for sure its a sport, its a combination of many sports in martial arts, body building, running, boxing, etc.......
and there are many kinds of wrestling:
- The american one and the most famous (but it's just a show for muscles to media and ads)
- Roman wrestling (as seen in the olympics on a tapis not on a ring)
- Thai wrestling (different from thai boxing)
- UFC (ultimate fight championship)

not all wrestling organisations have acting matches

WWE is acting because they want to make drama, and because the referee is never punished for making a wrong call and before the match begins it is decided who should win to make up a drama accordingly

but I have seen some real wrestling on TV, I forgot the name of the show but it seemed real, one packed punch in the head often knocked out the player or at least you can see some real bleeding and diziness, one belly to belly supplex wins you the match. no drama, no stories, players go against each others based on their wins loss history, so no weak players against strong ones etc...

and yeah that is a sport, it really needs skill to avoid beign hit and to deliver nice blows

Sports r found to play in a peaceful way...such as Basket Ball, Foot Ball, Volley Ball, and every sport like these...What is meant by روح رياضية
Wrestling is a fight we can say Street Fight...but it has rules, and every offensive game is not a sport

Yes it is...after all the players are moving a lot...but it is a really ugly one...why do people practice it in the first place?! is it fun being hit and kicked by someone else??
