try this one
Go to registry editor by running regedit in the run box. Go to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Advanced In the right hand area, double click hidden and change the value to 1. |

There is nothing missing in the registry but some values are changed:
The solution of this problem is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\ Key = NOHIDDEN CheckedValue = 2 DefaultValue = 1 Key = SHOWALL CheckedValue = 1 DefaultValue = 0 Last edited by Google; 01-19-2008 at 02:47 PM. |
