Who in your opinion is the best classical composer of ALL TIME ? and why?
I know you think you're so cool and look down on classical music, and you're too rap or metal to know about it, well if you think you're that way, dont reply here for your own sake! I'd say chopin, reason? just listen to his pieces! there's no greater pleasure in music than listening to chopin ! more like, its one of the greatest musical pleasures :P

I chose the Russian Miscellancous composer Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky... He made memorable melodies, strong colors n known as the best uninhibited emotionalism composer

no actually that would be beethoven, he lost his hearing around 1796 , and composed ones of his most amazing masterpieces, without being able to hear!

Beethoven is the master of all times.
But i will choose Johann Sebastian Bach, For me im sure that bach created what we all call now loud or Rock music. he managed to develope the Baroque music he integrated and expanded the harmonic of many schools at that time like the Italian and the German school. at the same time he was building his own and unique music identity. he also was a mathematician and if you hear his work you can see how he uses Maths to integrate the scales, and keep the music as simple as it is. Many rock bands where inspired by his riffs on the Church Organ like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Dio, Kiss...

both parents where musicians and both died when he was 9 years old. he lived with his uncle who was the director of music in a church.
most of his music is religious, in the other hand many of his work admit religious interpretations in a way or another. he was famous with his Development of The Church Organ Large scales and i think he added something to the B-Minor scale (wich is the most scale used by rock musicians in composing songs
