The Bios and HDD on start up both have passwords ...
I know when u remove the cmos batt the bios pass will b reset , but anyone know if the hdd pass will also ? or can they disable hdd pass from bios without knowing the hdd pass ? and if the hdd is connected as a slave on another pc , the hdd will stay blocked right ? |

what do u mean by hdd pass ?
is it the windows password ? |

Hey, try to give me the name of the HDD to see what i can do , in worst case senario , try to put this HDD as slave and run on another HDD windows setup and go out on command prompt and the try to copy your important files and then format the HDD.
