Dubai Shopping Festival Launch Party Canceled !
Every year the famous and much awaited Dubai Shopping Festival kicks off with a huge and festive launch party, but not this year.
It has been officially announced that the usual launch ceremony planned for the Dubai Shopping Festival 2009 has been canceled as a way to show solidarity to the people of Gaza. The rest of the activities will go on as planned from January 15th to February 15th. According to the chairman of the Dubai Shopping Festival Office, this year the festival promises some of the best shopping discounts in a DSF edition yet and prizes worth millions of Dirhams will be given to shoppers every day ! Wow !  |
