Enable LAN network connection.
Setup Workgroup, IPs, Subnet, Default gateway on each device. Connect the 2 devices with a UTP cross-cable. |

Set up new home network on both pc and laptop with the same name...
Make sure that the files u want to use are shared...(properties of the file mark share)and than open network connection on pc for example and choose the network that u named and start sharing. good luck |

make sure the cable is not a normal one , but a cross somethin .
