The Riddle contest

Ok, so the first rule is NO GOOGLE, second rule if you know it don't participate.

You are Asking what does this have to do with Computers.
The thing is that i am going to put a riddle and the first 3 to answer will get the following:

1st place : Lord of the rings online: shadows of angmar Retail Key!
2nd and 3rd place : Heroes of Newerth Beta invites.

P.S.: answers are to be submitted only via pm and no hints should be posted on the forum.
P.S.: Mention your email address in the submission
P.S.: if you are not into online game or Dota like game don't participate because you will take the chance from some1 who wants it.

you can check both games on Gamespot or google so you can make up your minds.

The riddle:

Assuming that you have a wooden stick, that stick needs an hour to be burned completly if you torch one of it;s ends. now if you want to measure 45 minutes by burning similar sticks what will you do. (you have more than one stick). you have no timers and no ruler. only you have sticks and a lighter.
