The meeting took place at Baabda palace today at 12.30 PM

حديث العماد ميشال عون بعيد لقائه النائب المكلّف تشكيل الحكومة سعد الحريري في قصر بعبدا:

كان اللقاء نوع من كسر الجدار وفتحنا نوع من الحوار حول تشكيل الحكومة، الصعوبات لا تزال كبيرة ولكن حتى لا نصدم الناس كان هذا اللقاء. سأغيب عن لبنان عدة ايام وهناك امكانية لمتابعة النقاش حول تشكيل الحكومة أثناء غيابي.

أضاف العماد عون: تمنّى الرئيس ميشال سليمان أن نلتقي في قصر بعبدا وهذا ما حصل، في نهاية الأمر قد نضطر الى جعل اللقاءات المقبلة عند الحدود، لإيجاد منطقة محايدة".

هناك صعوبات.الحريري: إنكسر الجليد كما قال الجنرال

اثر اللقاء قال الرئيس المكلف سعد الحريري:"الحوار كان صريحا وواضحا وانكسر الجليد كما قال الجنرال عون. سنتابع الحوار بيننا وبين الجنرال، سيغادر لبنان عدة ايام لكن سيبقى الاتصال لتسريع حكومة الوحدة الوطنية. اشكر فخامة الرئيس الذي رعى الاجتماع ونتمنى ان يكون هناك حوار جدي لتشكيل الحكومة، هناط صعوبات ولكن هناك بداية لحوار جدّي لننتهي من المشاكل

Those are our demands. Just like every bloc, we have slammed our demands on the table.

If Hariri doesnt want to concede to our demands, then let him propose alternatives.

Our demands have been known for quite some time, and yet Hariri hasn't proposed a formula for us to consider.

Instead, Hariri is asking HA to do his job for him!! He is asking our allies to pressure us into retreating. They are trying to fracture the opposition. Is it our problem that the Opposition is a united team, while Feb14 farato?

If Hariri hasn't got alternatives, then quit.
If you don't want to quit, then go and form the govt without the Opposition. Will it pass the confidence vote?

Hariri, if you haven't learnt in the past 4 years, i will simplify it for you:

NO AOUN = NO GOVT

You can't by pass him

Aoun never nominated Bassil.

Gebran's name was being circulated in the media, and Aoun said all ministers named as part of C&R bloc was all rumours. He wasn't even consulted about his own share.

Then Feb14 escalated the campaign, into a personal one.

So GMA, now insists on Gebran returning as minister, and in his current capacity as Telecomm minister.

Teach them a nice lesson

enno gibran is the best minister ever
mich bas better than the loyalist ministers, he is better than many of the ministers that are with us
he actualy improved stuff
I've never seen any minister in lebanon do anything except keep stuff running
no one ever improved anything before
michen heyk we want him back on telecom

he proved that he is efficient and dedicated for his position

I call him jebran basil chafi3 el internet

cause I am expecting some miracles on that level from him
