نداء كاد لا يفارق موقع tayyar.orgلأسابيع، والسبب ان ربى بصيبص فتاة في العشرين من العمر بحاجة يومياً الى اكثر من 30 وحدة دم الامر الذي جند الاهل والاقارب والاصحاب لتأمين حاجة ربى من كمية الدم فانتشرت نداءات في الوسائل الاعلامية وعلى المواقع الالكترونية والfacebook بالاضافة الى الجمعيات الخيرية والصليب الاحمر.

وبعد صراع مع المرض، قررت ربى وقف كل المعاناة من اجلها فودعت اهلها واصحابها صباح السبت 10 تشرين الاول 2009.
وبعد ظهر اليوم الاحد، شيعت بلدة فالوغا والاتحاد اللبناني لكرة الطاولة ولبنان البطلة ربى بصيص، ابنة العشرين عاما، وذلك في مأتم رسمي وشعبي حاشد في قاعة كنيسة مار الياس في بلدة فالوغا - المتن الأعلى.

وقد احتفل بالصلاة عن راحة نفسها، بقداس ترأسه راعي أبرشية بيروت المارونية المطران بولس مطر، وعاونه لفيف من الكهنة، في حضور ممثل العماد ميشال عون النائب آلان عون، النائبان فادي الأعور وحكمت ديب، ممثل عميد الكتلة الوطنية كارلوس إده بيار خوري، مدير معهد الفنون الجميلة الدكتور طوني شربل، رئيس اتحاد كرة الطاولة سليم الحاج، رئيس محكمة الجنايات في منطقة الشمال القاضي الرئيس جان بصيص، ممثل نقابة الفنانين وليد أبو الحسن، رئيس بلدية فالوغا سمير غانم وأعضاء المجلس البلدي، قضاة ومحامون وفاعليات البلدة وحشد كبير من رفاق الفقيدة وممثلي الاتحادات وأهالي البلدة والجوار.

30 blood units ?? what was wrong ??

I never understood why she needed that much
30 units is like 15 litres of blood a day
the human body only needs 4 to 6
and AB is the rarest blood type, very hard to find

no it wasn't leukemia!
she had something called hodgkin disease: it's a type of cancer that targets the lymphatic system = the immunity... it's usually curable when it starts at a young age but at rouba's age it had a worse pronostic...

she needed that much blood because they were replacing her blood everyday because her disease was essentially circulatory...

may her soul rest in peace!! it's a really tragic loss

see, AB is always in shortage

any member who has AB blood type I really advice you to donate
1)you really could be savign lives
2) you get a donor's card, in case anything happenes to you(we hope not of course) you will have the priority to receive blood
