Each time I read a book, I get disappointed after watching the movie...It happened to me for The DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, Harry Potter lol, Twilight, etc etv... Books are a lot better than the movies done

I think both have their merits but books are much better because as a reader you will be more involved in the matter plus you have the time to analyse and for your brain to digest the information, you can put the book down then pick it up anytime you feel like it. After reading a book you'll keep thinking about the story for days even weeks and thinking about every detail, movies don't get to me that way cz i think there's too much "distractions" you don't focus on the story as much, there's the acting, the visual effects, the soundtrack, etc. they say that the one thing Walt Disney did wrong was that he showed children what a giant looked like..the movie is someone else's interpretation of the book so if you just watch the movie you'll miss that experience! I'm an avid reader and an avid-movie watcher, why not..after you've read the book you'll see the movie in a whole other perspective.
