I wouldn't know if I like programmign since I never programmed anything
I liek to search on google, I like logic rather than memorising and I don't mind sittign on the computer for long hours based on that I picked computer science, but how would I know if I have a "passion" for programming when I never done it?

ok, now I am met with another obstacle
major courses are only available like once a year, and the main course that is prerequisite to most is in fall and I did all my electives so I am basicly stuck with 3 credits this spring and like 6 credits next fall ![]() I am thinking of double majoring, what goes well with CS? besides engineering I was thinking something like business or economics...

Hey Mr.J I would like to give you my opinion since you asked for it.
You said you were majoring in something that has to do with chemistry, were I in you shoes I would switch to nursing, male nurses are very need both in Lebanon and in the Arab world. In Lebanon salaries start from 1000 right after graduation, and in the Arab world it is way more. and since you have an idea about biology and chemistry you won't find it to be hard. Hope I was helpful

I'm not sure how it works in Lebanon.. but here there is a degree called "computing and information systems" similar to computing and business. I would say both are good and both should get a good job as most companies require someone from the IT industry. Btw.. halhoula made a good point. Best of luck! |
