okay:P...the law that let people under 21 vote right now in the lebanese current situtation is useless....2nd i already discussed with u why u can't do it hek bala to7dir ....which makes this part of ur post a bit useless in the "under 21" law case ...

Huh and now they are asking for secularism, No One, and I repeat NO ONE is with applying and seeking Secularism and Civil State more than GMA and FPM.

21 or 18, chou fer2it? there are more pressing things that should be amended and applied in the election laws, like voting for people according to qualifications not religious views and focus on decreasing bribes and spreading awareness.

plus, 18 year olds are easier to bribe, carte cellulaire or in my case, a 512 DSL prepaid card would mean alot

There is nothing called 3elmeniyyeh siyessiyyeh or natural sectarianism.
do some researches about the meaning of secularism before posting.

I guess u meant that you don't want the abolition of religion, and no one talked about this!

Secularism is something else, and doesn't have anything to do with being religious. you can be totally religious in a secular country.

That's a reason why FPM should educate its members about its principles, because the majority of the new generation of FPMers doesn't have an idea about it, and i guess the FPM party itself doesn't have a clear vision about its identity.

Anyway, i don't agree that FPM is currently secular, General Aoun is a secular man yes, but FPM is a sectarian party nowadays, i hope that the minority of secular FPMers will be able to get it back to the track or else FPM that we knew will be finished.

Starting from this, I don't think FPM should have a problem with lowering the age of voting to 18 (that's in principle) ... After all GMA knows the best how much 18 + year old "Kids" served their country and how much they sacrificed.

So the reasons stating that this specific age group isn't mature enough being intellectually incompetent or easily manipulated or brainwashed or cybersex maniacs or blablablablabla is just Crap and BullSh*t ... and for many other opposing reasons that I could spend more than one hour stating them.

The problem is that FPM objection to law came somehow unclear to the public opinion: stating that it should come as a whole package or it's not mature enough to be discussed yet on the table ... But all these reasons are weak regarding to the subject being proposed ... Specially it looked like a battle between Berri and GMA and GMA came out victorious on the expense of this group (and i blame the media for this especially FPM) ...

First you mislead this group and now you are insulting their intelligence !!!
It's your duty to explain and give clear answers to a nearly quarter million who are obviously really disappointed from what happened ...

Care to elaborate or at least start practicing what you preach ??? ... maybe this will relief the tension that was build up few days ago.
