This Thread is dedicated for people who uses excel extensively, and have achieved some huge reports/ analysis using excel.
i have been working on one report since one year almost, the report is a daily/weekly/monthly performance/availability report for a telecommunication provider in Nigeria, the reports makes automatic calculation depending on data provided by the NOC(network operation center) Its sort it by region/route/team than identify the problem that has occurred than count the sorted results. after this the reports calculates availability/MTTR/outages time(in minutes) in two different methods, one for overall availability the other one site by site basis. The number of sites is about 800 sites along with a big number of teams, the outage of the report is also analyzed on another sheet with graphs. The results acquired from the report are usually 100% accurate even more accurate more then the Main Communication provider himself. it is fully automated, just copy past the data from the NOC and ull get a full view about what us happening on ground. Oh on a side note: some sheets uses pivot tables as well for filtering results. P.S.: all the report is based on variable date and time functions due to dead line and KPIs Anyone has done something similar?
