Well this just sucks
![]() i wanted to update my iphone software to the OS 4.2.1, so i downloaded the 78mb standalone installer from the apple site. As soon as i launch it the green bar hits 1/3 and poof! it disappears just 2sec after launching it. I googled the hell out of this problem, but it seems that downloading the installer from the apple site worked for everyone else, but not for me. Not at all. I downloaded it again to make sure the installer wasn't corrupt or had a problem but i encountered the same problem yet again. I cleared out my temp folder, uninstalled quicktime and itunes, even followed a thread that said i had to download microsoft vscript but no...still the same damn problem.... I really need help here.....so...help ????
