It's been some time since we had debates in this forum, so here's a starter:
Some believe that the provision of incentives and penalties, in itself, demoralizes the actions, behaviors or decisions of those involved. Do you agree or not?

yes I believe in that. where is the value in doing something you are supposed to do by law or by incentive.
like where is the value in not smoking because the law prevents it? a person who does something because it is right, without being driven to it would of course be the better person
