We got the chance many times to fight the Syrian Occupation, during the war and during the peace, and we did not let any chance to pass without using it.

As for Hizbollah, i can agree with you that they are not a RESISTANCE, but a MILITIA, but on the other hand, the Lebanese Forces (the real one) is also a MILITIA, and they were never RESISTANCE.

Resistance cannot be done against one occupation, the two non-army sides that fought in LEBANON against any occupation were from a side the LEBANESE FORCES that fought against the Palestinian and the Syrian occupations. And Hizbollah that fought against the Israilis occupation, and for a reason or another, the first was pure Christian eventhough there was many non-christian fighters and the second was also Mulsim and a pure one.

The problem in Lebanon begins with the missunderstood between us. For example the Christians in a general view did not live the Israeli Daily Occupation, and the Muslims did not live the Syrian Daily Occupation.

But i can assure you Lebanese that when you get the chance to fight the syrian after the 1986 untill 2006, you did not.

Know this: During the syrian occupation, EVERYONE collaborated with them(exept aoun and ja3ja3). the question is, who exploited this collaboration for their needs? Who changed camp only when they saw that their "masla7a" changed? Im not defending the syrian regime, but in politics, you just CANT change camps just like that and have your actions without consequences.

FPM is NOT defending syria, but it doesnt support this governement either. Stop being so shortsighted.

I agree with most of what you said exept that Hezb is a militia.

Personaly, I think it is, politicly it is not. Why? because of Rafik Hariri who in 96 or so qualified Hezb as a RESISTANCE to defend lebanon from ISrael.

About the misunderstanding, you are right, they didnt resist against Syrian occupation. But neither did most of the people now in 14 march(PSP, FM). What goes for HEzbollah MUST apply also for every other party.

Lastly, FPM did fight the Syrians, but 3aoun chose to do so in a pacific way, after the war of liberation in 1989.

Same for me, i agree with most of what you said except hizbullah being a Militia. And since you brought the idea of understanding each other. Let's start by this point. Hizbullha fought the Israeli army explicitly bc they felt the oppression by that occupation. Today Israel withdrew, but it's danger is still there, so if you put yourself in place of Hizbullah, you can't give your weapons, unless you are sure Israel will not take advantage of that. Also, Hizbullah never used his weapons internally, and never showed their fighters publicly, which are the main properties of Militias, so i don't see them as a Militia in any case.

Ok , well you have a weak point , Yes i will be ally with X-Syrians allies they are XX and they are lebanese and i'm willing to forgive and forget, But FPM are ally with a current syrian ally which is Hizballah ..So this road is a troubled road that FPMers are taking , Not because Hizballah is not lebanese but hozballah is a militia that does not obay the Ta2if Accord and does not obay the country constitution , Hozballlah has its own agenda that is written in Demascus disreagrding the lebanese president , the goverment , and the people of lebanon.

tab what do you propose the solution would be, if everything after taef is not legal, then i think GMA should go back into a militari government headed by GMA. And let's agree on a new dustoor instead of Taef. But again, although logical & righfull, this might get us back into civil war.
