Sorry but that is Bull s***, i have a duo processor and a basic intel graphics card, i had 512 MB Ram and i installed Vista Ultimate which is the best version, and it was working perfectly fine, but a bit slow, i just had to upgrade my memory and now it is perfect. So that guy just wanted to get some extra cash but he will defenitly lose

Don't worry Microsoft bya3rfo ye7mo 7alon mni7 ... there is a difference between Windows Vista capable and designed for windows vista ...
when you see "capable" it means it can work vista but don't give the performance as it should give (basically it will run home edition) ... but when you see "designed" this means it was orgirnally made to work on vista and should give the full performence ... 3ammak Bill Gates me7tel kbir (in a smart way) ... 3arif 7alo chou 3amil : :Thank You ...

well this guy just wants to get famous
![]() i encounter everyday pcs with designed for windows XP, windows vista capable. they are vista home capable at least, but who said that they support the flip 3D ? or the ultimate version? no one. but as far as i know, a centrino duo is very capable of handling even the ultimate, provided it has 1 gb of RAM. bullshit this guy is talking about. i'm sure that this sticker wont be put on something that has less than 512 mb of RAM. he can get another 512 for less than a 100 $. (much less). and it is also from the stupidity to run vista on low end systems, it is like putting a renault 12 engine for a S-Class mercedes, it will look good, but will it go off 10 km/h?

Their is not going to be a perfomance difference when someone switches from home premium to ultimate. Ultimate just adds a couple of features, but the core system will run the same on a vista capable computer. The only way i can see it affecting is when u disable windows aero which is featured in both version. The only difference counts is when u have a dx10 enabled card. Microsoft said that you will be able to see some new effects to windows aero using the card.
And if u have a memory problem, just stick in a 512 mb flash and enable the readyboost feature in vista. |

when i said the home version, i meant the home basic, no flip 3d, many other features are not present.
