تعتزم شركة غوغل توظيف أكثر من 2000 شخص حول العالم لترفع قوة العمل لديها فيما تتوسع في أسواق جديدة وتخوض المعارك مع منافسيها الأسرع نموا لاقتناص اصحاب المواهب.

ووفقا لحسابات رويترز أعلنت الشركة وهي أكبر محرك بحث على الانترنت في العالم عن 2076 وظيفة شاغرة على موقعها. وكان المدير المالي للشركة أبلغ المستثمرين في أيلول ان صناعة الانترنت تخوض "حربا من أجل المواهب."

وتزيد الوظائف الشاغرة بأكثر من ستة أمثال تلك التي أعلن عنها في أذار 2009.

وتتزامن نوبة التوظيف مع سلسلة من أكثر من 20 عملية استحواذ هذا العام قفزت باعداد العاملين في غوغل بالفعل إلى 23300 موظف في نهاية سبتمبر بارتفاع قدره نحو 18 بالمئة منذ بداية العام.

وقال جوردان نيومان المتحدث باسم جوجل "نعمل على زيادة عمليات التوظيف وعدد الوظائف الشاغرة منذ العام الماضي."

وتتطلع غوغل التي تسيطر على نحو ثلثي السوق العالمية للبحث على الانترنت الى فرص جديدة للنمو من خلال التوسع في أسواق جديدة بينها برامج اندرويد للهواتف الذكية والاعلانات الالكترونية وبرامج الانتاجية المستندة الى الانترنت.

وهذا الشهر أعلنت غوغل انها ستمنح زيادة قدرها عشرة في المئة للعاملين في 2011 في خطوة فسرها كثيرون على انها محاولة للاحتفاظ بأفضل موظفيها.
