C++ And Vista

Hey Guys i`v seen once in a thread you were taking about c++ so i think you have an idea about it ...........
i installed microsoft visual c++ 6.0 on my laptop
i have vista
It works normaly and it compiles but it doesnot execute it give me an error : LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file "kernel32.lib"
Error executing link.exe

how can i make it work on the vista plz help daroori today because i have a n assynment for tomorow i have to make a maze

a quick google search led me to this vista compatibility list:

it seems that visual studio 6 should be ran as administrator.
(right click, run as, type administrator, and make sure that there is an admin pass, type it and press ok)
halla2 if it does not work, i suggest microsoft visual studio 2005 express edition (find it on microsoft.com, it is free)
if not, use bloodshed, or anything.

it didn`t work .........man do u know how difficult to work on the 2005 virsion its so hard i have the assignment fot tomorow i need 3 days to learn how to compile on the 2005

try bloodshed as a fast solution for ur problem.
i used it before and it is the easiest compiler ever. and u dont have to change anyhting within your code.
