My name is Samer, i like my name, actually i like arabic names,
as for my children i will them arabic names:

girls: Yasmina, Leila, Nour,...etc
boys: Omar, Maher, Saji3 , ...etc

first of all i wanna thank Kain 4 actin as a gentle man by wakin those tanebel up that was sweet , although u r da sweetest one here n with all ma respect if u gonna name ur child MOHAMMAD MOUHSEN he gonna hate u 4 da rest of his life (jk)

@ Kingroudy gunther seems funny n somehow wierd when ur gonna grow old u gonna be called (Mr, abou gunther) eh why not go ahead :P

It will depend on what environment my child will grow up in. In this case it would be a religious one, so no Mohammad Mohsen is fine really

Ouiiii, i know that many many people give their name to their child hehe and i could be like one of those many, but i prefer not that why a future daughter will not be named joelle . It is a nice thing to pass down to generations one's name, but i feel like giving them a different something not common in a family will give them the opportunity of being themselves a little more.

Since we are on the topic and it was something i read an article about recently, there are some people that buy very expensive books to get the personality that goes alone with each name and they believe that a name will truly determine the child's personality??

What do you guys think??

personally id like to pick a name a like and make sure it has a nice meaning, but i wouldn't depend on the meaning of the name to form a person's personality
