long have I struggled with the websense filter at the university, and I tried 75% of that list and the system always adapted to the proxies and eventualy blocked them
and after long days of research and reading I have done it I found a 100% way to avoid filters, something so sadistic and evil no filter can ever dream of blocking it. I give you the ultrasurf 8.9

this thing is a software not a proxy site, just download the zip file, unpack it, and run the program. no more blocks, no more searching for new proxy sites. I thought I'd post it here in case another vcoderz member ever struggle again in finding proxies. just don't spread that thing around your friends, you wouldn't want to be caught using it at the university.

if you are using firefox you'll have to then you have to modify your proxy IP address to 127.0.0.1 with port :9666

you definatly should try this, the software itself is 200 KB but the zip file comes with a winrar software that is why it is 2 MB in size
that thing changed my life

Man the rar file is only 7kb please fix it.

I downloaded it from my link again after I read your post, I got the 2 MB winrar file normaly
if you are using flashget you might encounter what you described, so close flashget and do not allow flash get to moniter internet explorer
was that your problem?

The University can simply block the port 9666 and the game will be over...

I work in the network unit in a university, but I didn't tell them about this issue :P
