well to be fair artists have always had their special style, take Kiss for example; they're one of the best artists of all time but they've got their style aswell, SlipKnot got their style aswell with the masks and such, alot of good artists got a special something..Lady Gaga [again, in her genre of music] is a very good artist, me not liking her style of music [I dnt hate it, but I dnt love it] doesn't mean she's not good, that's all that there is to it

To you who like Gaga, ask yourself one question.
How famous would she have been if her fame relied only on her music*?

*That means not her body (which is kind of crap if you ask me), not her cloths (which are also crap if you ask me) and not her behavior (which is...well, you get the point).


I remember seeing a video clip of her singing a song before she became famous. She was wearing normal cloths and not a bikini made of woolly mammoth fur, she was singing with her own voice without the help of a computer and she was pretty good.
But could she have become famous like that?

And art is one of those things that each person has a different idea of what it is.
One time a saw (on TV) an "artist" pissing in a cup in public and drinking it. Why? Because according to him, it was art.
Gaga is that kind of artist, it's just that she takes a shortcut and pisses directly out of her mouth.

i'm the kind of person who doesn't watch TV, i loved her songs when i heard them on the radio and before watching their videos on youtube (and some videos are gross). the thing is, she drew a lot of attention because of being odd, now she can continue without all this fuss, but she wouldn't because this is what made her.
i once watched an interview with her (by Oprah), and she seemed a very nice person, maybe just eccentric from the outside.

come on man she's an attention *****, they all seem good on TV compared to interviews of lebanese singers who are utterly dumb and can't act like un-arrogant b*tches but in general they are all still attention wh*res.
Although I agree about the music. People who like that music might love her before they see her. I actually think she would have been successful too without doing all that, but her actions and character drew more attention from all over. Like me, I only tried to know about her not because I wanted to listen to her music but because of her controversial actions and all. But trust me it took time ... I didn't know she was a non-fictional character until recently.
