LOOOOOOOL 2 games in a row against Stuttgart with similar scores? and what kind of a score is that anyway? why the hell are they still conceding 3 goals in a game? the game was 3-3 at a certain stage!!

Bayern's defense sucks big time. Why are you surprised ? It's something usual.

i watched the highlights online, the first stuttgart goal came from an offside (50 cm though)
and the third came off Schweinsteiger's back. on the other side, the bar saved a shot from stuttgart. Also Butt made a silly foul on Cacau in the box, but then saved the penalty.

Micho went on loan to Malaga

Martin Demicheles will end this year at Malaga FC in Spain with the option to stay there.

After 7 years of service, I found it hard to see Micho leaving.
Disregarding the awful last season, he dedicated all of his proffesional career and years on Top form in Munich.
He showed his love and passion to the club this season, especially when he scored against Frieburg.

You will be missed

Bayern close in on Luiz Gustavo signing

Bayern are poised to begin the new year with a spectacular transfer coup, as Brazilian starlet Luiz Gustavo is set to join the German champions from Bundesliga rivals 1899 Hoffenheim in time for the second half of the season. The terms of the deal bringing the 23-year-old to the Säbener Strasse have been agreed between the FCB board and the south-western outfit, represented by their wealthy patron Dietmar Hopp.

Luiz Gustavo will undergo the obligatory pre-transfer medical on New Year’s Day and Sunday. Provided there is no last-minute hitch, the Brazilian will ink a four and a half year deal keeping him in Munich until 2015. The player and director of sport Christian Nerlinger will then travel to the club’s winter training base in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday.

Versatile defender Luiz Gustavo, who is equally at home at centre-half, at left-back, or in central defensive midfield, arrived in Germany two years ago from Brazilian second division side Corinthians Alagoano. Considered a raw gem of a player at the time, he has made 72 Bundesliga appearances for Hoffenheim and scored two goals, both of them this season. The South American is eligible to play in the Champions League.

Adiķs Micho

After seven and a half years at Bayern, Argentina international Martín Demichelis is leaving Munich for Spanish top flight outfit FC Málaga. On the eve of the new year, the German double winners and the southern Spanish strugglers finalised transfer terms for the defender, who will officially join his new club on 1 January 2011 for an undisclosed fee.

Micho spent Thursday at the club lying 18th in La Liga completing the customary medical and other pre-transfer formalities, and will be unveiled by Málaga on Monday 3 January at their La Rosaleda home ground. Contrary to reports in some sections of the Spanish press, the Argentine’s switch to Andalusia is permanent and not a loan deal.

“I hope I can settle into the team as quickly as possible,” the 30-year-old said after arriving in Málaga, where he will play for his former coach Manuel Pellegrini. “We have great mutual faith and trust,” Demichelis stated. Seasoned Chilean boss Pellegrini led Buenos Aires giants River Plate to the Argentine championship in 2003, a campaign in which Demichelis played a starring role and which earned him his big break in Europe at the end of the season.

A centre-half by trade, Demichelis spent his first couple of years at Bayern in defensive midfield, but faced a long and arduous task in breaking into a settled line-up at the time. Micho finished on 13 goals in 174 Bundesliga appearances for FCB, winning the cup and league double on four occasions. He has 32 senior international caps to date.

The player was a regular in the double-winning 2009-10 campaign, but lost his place on the left side of central defence to Holger Badstuber at the start of the current season. The “proud Argentine,” as he was described by chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, made only nine appearances this term, and only four in the starting line-up.

A father-of-one, Demichelis now starts out on a fresh challenge with Málaga, whose defence is the leakiest in Spain with 35 goals against so far. On behalf of fans everywhere, fcbayern.de thanks Martín for his successful spell in Munich, and wishes him all the best for the future. Adiķs Micho!

Micho went on a full ownership deal, and the transfer fee is undisclosed.

David Alaba is going on loan to Hoffenheim.

EXCLUSIVE: Arjen Robben Is As Important To Bayern Munich As Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo Are To Barcelona And Real Madrid – Louis Van Gaal

The Glass man is back…

Arjen Robben made his comeback for Bayern Munich against Al Wakrah on Saturday which resulted in a 4-0 victory for the current Bundesliga champions.
Louis Van Gaal was pleased with the return of the Dutch winger and praised him by putting him on the same level as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Robben is very important player for us… as important as Messi is for Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo for Real Madrid,” said Van Gaal.
With Bayern being 14 points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund, the Dutch manager admitted that their chances of defending their title are more or less over.
“Our ambition is to get to the second place in the league and go as far as possible in the Champions League, reach the finals… maybe we can even win it,” stated the 59 year old.
The former Barcelona manager explained the reason for coming to Qatar during the winter break and putting his side under a strenuous schedule of twin training sessions a day.
“First of all, it’s because of the climate. Also to train the team together and prepare for the season as in the beginning we couldn’t,” he reasoned.
With Qatar winning the bid to host the 2022 World Cup, Van Gaal gave his thumbs up for the facilities but had his doubts as to whether the stadiums would get filled up.
“I do think that the facilities are good. But the climate in summer and no crowds? 2022 is 11 years from now and so we will have to wait and see,” said Van Gaal.
Having signed Luis Gustavo from Hoffenheim, Van Gaal ruled out the possibility of his side spending any more in the current transfer window.
“I think the squad we have, that’s enough,” he said assuredly.
