the war started with the arabs refusing the british decision of an independant jewish state and the arabs attacking israel
the whole thing was just a racist problem that went very wrong
maybe the jewish state could have been similiar to lebanon being a "christian state" with a christian head of state(manla head) with no racism
palestine was a turkish province, as was lebanon, the war with israel did not start because the israelis drove people out of their homes, israelis drove people out of their homes in palestine because the war started. arabs struck first, you heard of alquassam, he was an arab leader who was killing jews before even world war 2 started. and because of the resistance and murders that occured because the arabs refused the way the british were going to divide the territory, israel kicked people out of their homes(it was riots back then) and the big fat war we see now started

it is not that easy... Peace between Lebanon and "Israel" is related to the "palestinian naturalization"... I think all the crisis that happened in lebanon since its independence aimed to make our country weak so we could accept the palestinian naturalization... it's not our decision to make peace or war... we never had this decision...arabs stoped fighting since the 1970's and started negotiations with Israel for peace... more than 35 years of negotiations... have the palestinians returned home ? do the palestinians have a state ? have the occupied arabic lands been liberated ? does lebanon live in peace ? has the "Mossad" withdrawn from lebanon ?
what I wanted to say is the decision to make peace isn't ours... it's the israeli's decision ( we all know what that means ), so what we have to do is to keep strong and resist
