LA Liga is similar to serie A, where much politics involved. Unlike ligue 1 or premier league, you dont see foreign owner coming and changing the power picture in the league. Its the same teams controlling the league. in Italy juve , milan and inter. in spain barca + real.

Yes, they were bought by foreigners with italian roots. But what happened to roma? Did the power picture change? Between 2001 to 2011 Roma finished second like 5 - 7 times. Last year for first time in like 15 years roma didnt qualify to europe! This year the squad is the worse in many many years, altho we have great manager.

They also bought only 60 % of the team, alot of people in rome think they are just a face and the real owners are unicredit ( who own 40 % of the team and not intrested in investing ).

Parma were close to be bought by nafta moskva, it was blocked. Roma were close to be bought by george soros ( billonaire ) , kerimov ( russian billionaire) , and egyptian nagwib sawiris ( billionaire) all blocked.

This might work but needs years to build such a team because you have to change the whole roma team and buy new one..and more importantly you need a strong experienced coach. He's a good football coach but not a good italian football coach. Their 2nd mistake was letting go of Montella. He's just excellent, completely rejuvenated every side he coached. They're now a good attacking side but they need a lot of enforcements in the defense, they will continue to lose if Zeman doesn't change his tactics.

Well blocking outsiders from owning things in Italy is really how Italians are, b kel shi, met3assbin would be the word for their own.
Roma were bought by an Amrican Italian and had the chance to go somewhere new and shift the power, it was their fault they weren't able to, they had their chance just couldn't make use of it, w yeah I agree with Neo there, takes time to build a successful team, unless you're a rich Oil Prince of course.
