1st, the gel is caled a heat transfer compound, you can find it at boujikian bel dawra
2nd, yes the dust can cause a big problem if the cpu is not cooled, see the fan not only removesthe heat from the cpu but alos it helps cooling the capasitors surrounding the cpu 3rd hope u used the hair dryer in cold mode 4th DNT USE THE HOOVER
