Ok it's the first time I read this thread so i would like first to thank everyone who shared his information with others.

Now my question is the following:

I have heard from many people that effervescent vitamin C can cause cancer (esp. breast cancer) on the long run, on the other hand it has proved to be one of the best precautions against the usual flu.

Is it true that it causes cancer?

This is not true at all ...
Vitamin C has an antioxidant effect and sometimes used in the treamtent or prevention of certain cancers as Breast cancer (as some studies suggested in large doses however it's controversial)
You can take efferalgan vit c with no worries

iv studied that too much vitamins causes cancer and mutates the cells in our body , too much is bad.

Cancer...don't think so but yes they can cause diseases.

It depends on what vitamin you're taking.
If they're fat soluble vitamins or water soluble vitamins.

Fat soluble vitamins such as A, E, D and K have certain doses that should not be exceeded. You will risk certain ailments.

Water Soluble vitamins such as vitamin C and B can be freely taken and will not cause any problems.
Drink as much orange juice as you want. You won't have any problems whatsoever.
