If they got his approval you might have had boutros or Nassib as your new president.
Or you think otherwise ?
Neither Batrak nor any of Febs gangsters has any saying in the 50+1.

This is a strict US decision to take this country into an open civil war.

For now, they are just using it as a threat...a bargaining chip.

ok " stand still" let it be .. Concerning the Civil war, we've been there, done that and we never learned.. I agree...

But I truly beleive that we are living the 2nd one now only the weapons are missing .. There is a hate culture prospering like a disease and it is even in kinder garden..

Unfortunatelly, Lebanese are ready to kill each other again.

Like i said earlier,Many scenarios are possible.

One of them could be international blocus (very devastating) should the opposition take power by force...unless countering a notoriously admitted coup attempted by febs...like the 50+1...

Yes you're right.

But the most disgusting thing (yet in this situation "good" thing) is,that it takes the Lebanese few days to hate each others...and fewer days to forget.

No accountability whatsoever.

So as long as we are not in a situation of real war, they are ready to sleep with a certain feeling...and to wake up with the opposite one.

What can i say....Sometimes i can't help but think that we are crazy people...

No it's bigger than those 2 little puppets.

It's about the Sunnite/Chiite US planned war in the whole region.Once it starts...nobody would be able to stop it.

Bottom line: welcome to LALA land ...
No one deserves a shred of tear, Crazy peopel elected crazy leaders and now we are wondering why it is all a mess..

Ma min il assess mich zabta.. Ta3a zabitta now..
We elected the same people that made the 1st civil war and we are soooo afraid of getting close to the 2nd one..

Same ingredients will have always get us same outcome, I dont understand why we are expecting anything better

I'm rather optimistic on this one.

There is a new trend,a new mentality and a kind of political renaissance carried out by the opposition.

If they succeed to kick those old mafia thugs out of power without bloodshed...it will be a huge victory and a real immunity for the future of Lebanon.

The opposition success will still depend on its ability to resist the urge to wipe Febs out in an instant.

Very hard challenge i must admit...

I should change my Avatar to Moutanbi2
