i had the system 32 virus and the folder options was gone but i downloaded the "spybot search and destroy" and it really helped now it's all back the same as it was ... try it

download kaspersky internet security. i had the error and it was removed.
if the folder option is still hidden and you cant use it.
go start>>run>>gpedit.msc
this is the group policy editor, dont mess, just search for the folder option and make sure it is accessible by all users.
i'll search for you and try to figure out the exact solution.
but for now, download kaspersky internet security 6.

start>>run>>gpedit.msc>>user configuration>>administrative templates>>double click on conrole panel.
you will probably see 4 folders and 4 files (or something like that)
make sure everything is disabled. and remember that folder option is a control panel component.
and remember to read well the description that is between the 2 lists.(once u click on something is the second)
