960 000 ? for minimum wages ? thats not gonna happen after 100000 years

20 000 for fuel ? lol are u crazy , the price of one oil barrel double since last year , it was 50$ , yes they were taking hight taxes , but now its almost 110$ the barrel, thats an international problem and not lebanese , and inflation is hitting all countries specially us who use the Dollar.

so i cant see anything but an increase of 50$ to the wages Lol

of course it's not gonna happen as long as the thieves gangs are ruling our country, because if this happened it would limit the ability of capitalists and work owners from making fortunes and millions 3a daher l 3emmel.
but if we were in a respectfull country the minimum wage should be like that if not more.
can you explain to me how someone earning 300.000LL per month will be able to pay his Phone bill, his electricity bill, his transportations expenses and buying his needs in the whole month ?? that if we considered that he is single and doesen't have a wife and children who have to go to school etc...

yes the price of one oil barrel doubled since last year, but the government in Lebanon is still taking 10$ as a tax on each "tankeh" .. the reduction of this tax to 5.00$ will not harm them.

yes but the increase to 960 000 LL wont have that positive impact , cuz if the minimum wages increase to 960 000 ll that means wages will be higher , and prices will go relatively higher.
if u have a market and u have an employee , it used to cost u 200$ now it will cost 640$ , that increase will go in prices, inflation will be higher than before

No it shouldn't, because the prices are already higher, and the minimum wage is the one that should have been increased relatively with the prices rising since 1992, but it didn't happen.. prices and taxes were rising while the minimum wage remained as it is.
of course increasing the minimum wage to 960.000LL shouldn't be done immediatly but in stages.

those who have 10 employees in a market and are paying 2000$ per month as a salary for them, with a minimum wage of 960.000LL (640$) they'll pay 6400$ as a salary for them, it means 4400$ more. i don't think that a market having 10 employees won't be able to pay 4400$ more, because of course their proportion of profits is much bigger..
betkoun l market bterba7 10.000$ per month when paying 2000$ as salaries, so it's not a problem iza saret terba7 5600$ per month if it payed 6400$ as salaries, because that's the fair profit that should had if minimum wage was increasing relatively with the increasement of prices since 1992. and those who cannot bear such increasement in salaries can always minimize their employers number relatively with the size of their business.
