The Sacred Feminine...
Throughout history, there is record of women being oppressed and devalued across many cultures. This has also occurred in the name of Christianity. When we see atrocities in the church's history, the tendency is to discount Christianity as a whole. These ugly parts of history, rather than showing Christianity to be oppressive, actually point to the reality of the human condition--which is that all people are prone to taking truth and twisting it to serve their own purposes. In spite of the dark parts of church history, there is also a great deal of light. The Advent of Christianity radically transformed the fate of women. Even ancient Roman pagan scholars agree that it was a turning point for the freedom and dignity of women. Despite the power and pressure of a male-dominated culture, Jesus valued women. He encouraged women to learn from his teaching, and went out of his way to have conversations with women--to the extent that he was criticized for this. Historically, Christian women have been powerful supporters of Jesus' message, often despite their status in male-governed cultures. Examples evident in the Bible include: Priscilla and Phoebe, while extra-biblical examples include: Perpetua of Carthage, Monica of Hippo, Teresa of Avila, Julian of Norwich, Katherina von Bora (Martin Luther's wife), Catherine Booth (founder of the Salvation Army) and Mother Teresa. The Gnostic gospel of Thomas, to which the book refers, records Jesus as wanting to transform Mary Magdalene into a man to make her acceptable to enter heaven. The modern Priory of Sion was created in 1956 by Pierre Plantard. All documents "proving" a blood line and a list of historical Priory members were proven to be forged in a French court of law. Are you willing to see that over the centuries the Christian did a great deal to promote the gifts and the rights of women? And while it may take time, are you able to see how liberating Jesus' message is for all minorities? Would you like to enter into a meaningful relationship with Christ, who triumphed over all evil?

The Holy Grail:
Before the twelfth century, there were no legends about the grail; by the thirteenth century the tale had become intertwined with Arthurian legends. The characters from Chretien's story developed into supposed historical figures from the Gospels, and the grail had become the Holy Grail. There is no historical evidence to connect the ancient female symbol of the chalice to the Holy Grail, since the grail's concept can only be traced back as far as the twelfth century. The re-division of the word Sangreal into Sang Real or Royal Blood appears to be completely manufactured. The concept that the Last Supper shows Mary Magdalene is rejected by art historians. Leonardo's portrayal of men in a soft, almost effeminate way is well known and is considered a typical representation of young men for that time period. Author Dan Brown's research into the various historical references are deeply flawed - to the extent that all major points made in the book must be viewed with suspicion. Are you able to put the theory about the Holy Grail in the Da Vinci Code into question? Would you like to know more about the significance of the real Last Supper as it is described in the Gospels? Would you like to discover the true Jesus, the host of this meal, for yourself?

Dan Brown try to convice people who read the book or watched the movie that all what is written in the bible is wrong, that Jesus Christ was married to MM and they had a child, and many other things... But if you do some researches, you can easily know the truth... Dan Brown used some true names of people, associations and places to say that his story is based on true things...But if you do some researches, you will know that many of the names used by Dan Brown doesn't exist at the time the story happened or doesn't exist at all...
