I like what you said, and you are right, music is about taste, BUT one thing should be said is that just because you don't want to give it a listen, don't bash it, listen well, TRY to listen at least, and then judge ( this is not directed at you lol, but to those who like to bash some certain musical style 3al meshe).
I like metal over rock, trance, rap not only because of my musical taste but also about respecting talent ( and metal is the most creative music can get due to it's variety and complexity etc) but I appreciate whatever peace of music that I hear and for example rap, I listened to Immortal technique and Wu-Tang Clan last day, it is not real music ( that is my opinion about rap in general, I think it is a way to express feelings and relate with the listener but not music) but I liked some stuff they did because they are true with their feelings and they have a message to deliver, and I try to go back to their history and read the lyrics, they are not just scene posers trying to be famous, but they are trying to relate to the listener and it works so well. For other music, when it has good composition, I give it a listen and don't just bash it for the sake of it. The problem to me is not rap, or trance or rock or whatever, but some groups that try to get into those music pretending that they know it all and that they are the best while in fact they are posers ONLY. eh I think this is not appropriate for discussion in this topic anyway, better leave it for Trance fans to post what they want , and this discussion can be taken somewhere else. bass I thought of clarifying some stuff said.
