First of all, When Dany Shamoun was Killed there where facts and figures oo and witnesses about who killed Dany Shamoun. Forget Facts and figures,It was known even by the a7rar how much Mr Samir Ga3ga3 hated Dany (God Rest His soul) and all the Christian leaders where out of Ga3ga3's way except him so what was the best way to get rid of him He killed him.
2nd us being prosecuted...Let me see at that time Ga3ga3 had his hands with Syrians and he wanted every christian leader out of his way what better way then to kill Dany,Isolate Amin and Fight GMA. I guess the Syrians got rid of him after "he thought at last he got what he wanted the chair and power" but the Syrians had other plans. By the way You want Ma7kameh Dwlieh right Yes I trusted the judgement that was done then because the Judge that sentenced Ga3ga3 to prison is the Same judge that they have in this Ma7kameh Dawlieh that they want ,how Ironic,so tell me since he's the one that put Samir ga3ga3 in prison.....so he does belong in Prison !!is it or is it not contradicting your principles.??????

Dany Chamoun has two surviving daughters, one of whom (Tracy) is a prominent human rights activist, who still accuses Geagea of having having slaughtered Her Family.
She has described her country's independence as a "myth." ''To what extent does the establishment believe that the population is so blind that it cannot see that the nation is far from independent?" she asked rhetorically before the Independence Day celebrations in 1990. "Like the myth of the emperor with no clothes, it is a charade that only the sycophants see and celebrate," she added.
Chamoun is known for her radical political views. She favours the building of a modern democracy, and has spoken out against what she sees as the feudal political system, in which clan loyalties often play a more significant role than ideology in politics. She is rumoured to be impatient with the more moderate and cautious policies of her uncle Dory Chamoun, who currently heads the National Liberal Party. Publicly, however, she has defended her uncle, and has refused to enter into discussions with people critical of him.
Tracy Chamoun has vowed justice for her slain father, and has fought court battles both in Lebanon and abroad to bring his killers to trial. In controversial circumstances, Samir Geagea was convicted of ordering the murder in 1994 and served 11 years of a life sentence, prior to his pardon in July 2005. Tracy Chamoun vowed, "If he ever gets out of jail, I will have signed my death warrant." Her reaction to his release, if any, is currently unknown. She continues to work to bring to justice others connected with the murder.

Gemayel's term expired on 23 September1988, without the election of a successor. Chamoun declared his strong support for GeneralMichel Aoun, who had been appointed by the outgoing President to lead an interim administration and went on to lead one of two rival governments that contended for power over the next two years. He strongly opposed the Taif Agreement,(Which Samir Ga3ga3 agreed to) which not only gave a greater share of power to the Muslim community than they had enjoyed previously, but more seriously, in Chamoun's opinion, formalized what he saw as the master-servant relationship between Syria and Lebanon, and refused to recognize the new government of President Elias Hrawi, who was elected under the Taif Agreement.

The fairness of the trial was challenged by Chamoun's brother, Dory (his older less-charismatic brother, who replaced him as leader of the National Liberal Party) declared publicly on 25 April2005 that he believed Geagea to be innocent ( )and demanded a new investigation to uncover the real assassins, whom he suspected of being Syrian agents.

The Murder of Dany Chamoun
Over the next few days after the surrender of General Aoun, Syrian agents moved into East Beirut and many Aoun supporters were arrested. Opposition was put down. On 21st October 1990, Dany Chamoun, the leader of the National Liberal party, who was against Syrian presence in Lebanon and had been a strong supporter of General Aoun's policies was killed in cold blood by uniformed gunmen who broke into his apartment in the early hours. His wife and his two young boys, aged 5 and 7, were also killed in the most disgraceful of ways. The scale of the horror and the savagery of the killings were barbaric even by Lebanese standards. The housekeeper took Dany's baby daughter and hid in the attic, they were the only survivors.

What I said is still true, you just can't say that a justice system is right on some stuff and wrong on other but you can say that Geagea killed dany based on the events you stated that you beleive are facts without refering to the justice system of the time.

I am not upset but we all lived during that period and we know how much it meant to Samir Ga3ga3 to get rid of Dany Chamoun, and all the christian leaders to get where he wants.
Anyway Tracy's book is called Au Nom du Pere she's a author and political activist..The Justic system maybe it was bad then but at least it did one thing right it had Samir Ga3ga3 sent to prison.And Tracy is scared and would be scared since she knows that he killed her father,and all she wants to do is prove it and send him back.
