I always close the door, even if I was alone at home, and it was 3 am in the morning and the front door was locked and my family is sleeping somewhere else.

but the reason is more a mechanical habbit than a conscience act, when I go in my right hand automaticly slams the door and my left hand lturns the key, I don't even think about what I am doing, it takes less than 2 seconds(to close the door of course

well If I was home alone I would leave the door open...but If my parents were home or any of my friends visiting me akid I will close it and lock it
