Bayern Munich in standstill over moves for Jerome Boateng and Arturo Vidal - Christian Nerlinger

Following widespread reports on the possible signings of Manchester City's Jerome Boateng and Bayer Leverkusen's Arturo Vidal, Bayern Munich have issued official statements on their transfer targets.

Both players have expressed their desire to move to Munich, but are being held back by their respective clubs, who are reluctant to sell.

"Jerome Boateng insists on a move to Munich because he sees it as an outstanding opportunity," said Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger.

However, he explained that City's "utopian" demands are currently preventing the deal. The transfer fee requested is one that Bayern "by far are unwilling to pay."

Nerlinger added that should City refuse to lower their valuation, which is estimated to be in the region of €20 million, he is "very pessimistic that the transfer will be made."

The situation with Vidal is similar; in spite of the player's public revelation of his intent to join Bayern, Nerlinger explained, "we have also heard the statements of Bayer Leverkusen's leaders."

In recent weeks, Leverkusen's Rudi Voller and Wolfgang Holzhauser have categorically rejected the sale of their star midfielder to a rival club and explained their intent to keep the player.

On Vidal, Nerlinger said, "we must also wait."

Should the 24-year old Vidal not be allowed to move this summer, he is expected to join Munich on a free transfer next year. However, he has become a highly coveted target in recent weeks, with AC Milan, Napoli, Juventus and Arsenal among his potential suitors.

Finally, the Bayern website confirmed the signing of Japanese youngster Takashi Usami from Gamba Osaka, who will join the German record champions next month. The player announced his transfer early this morning, and Bayern corroborated his words with a public statement of their own.

"He will play in the Japanese league until it ends in mid-July and then come to Munich," Nerlinger explained.

The sporting director is "happy that he comes to us because he is a very big talent."

The 19-year old is seen as a back-up for oft-injured wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, and comes on a one-year loan with an option to buy.

Missing from the statement was word on a deal for Tranmere Rovers' youngster Dale Jennings, who was recently reported to be on the verge of making a transfer to the Munich giants.

^ u like someone from United! anyways rumors r flying around alot about Nani lately cz Young arrived, the thing is, Valencia can be the one benched here cz Nani and Valencia like the right side, Young likes the left, at the start of the season when Valencia was injured, Nani shone on the right flank then faded away when he was shifted to the left when Valencia came back, so the question here is "could it be Young arrived to play on the left side and play Nani on the right where he will shine? or is it that Young came to replace the somewhat *not in place on the left side* Nani and play him alongside Valencia? or is it that Sir Alex is looking to find Ryan Giggs' replacement when he retires next year?"

أغويرو يقترب أكثر وأكثر من اليوفي

اقتربت قصة انتقال النجم الأرجينتيني سيرجيو أغويرو لاعب أتليتيكو مدريد الإسباني إلى نادي يوفنتوس الإيطالي من النهاية بعدما أكد وكيل أعماله بأن النادي الإيطالي جاد جدا بالتوقيع خلال الأيام القادمة.

وقال برونو ساتين وكيل أعمال أغويرو لصحيفة "توتو سبورت" الإيطالية اليوم: "نحن على اتصال دائم مع إدارة يوفنتوس وهم مهتمون جدا بالتوقيع خلال الأيام القادمة. أغويرو يريد الذهاب لنادي كبير واليوفي سيكون مناسبا جدا له".

وأضاف ساتين: "فرصة أن نرى أغويرو بقميص يوفنتوس أصبحت مؤكدة".

يذكر أن أغويرو ارتبط بالانتقال إلى يوفنتوس وريال مدريد الإسباني منذ ستة أسابيع تقريبا، لكن السيدة العجوز أصبحت أقرب إلى ضمه بعد اتجاه إدارة النادي الملكي إلى البرازيلي نيمار مانحين الفرصة لليوفي لاقتناص أغويرو.

نادي أتليتيكو مدريد وضع سعر 45 مليون يورو لأغويرو، لكن يوفنتوس ينوي دفع 30 مليون يورو فقط ولهذا السبب لا تزال الصفقة معلقة حتى يتم الاتفاق على الأمور المادية بعد أن تمت الموافقة على باقي بنود الانتقال.
