Get the info back after Format ...
I know some programs that can backup all data even after you format ...
My ques is : Does these programs Get info even after the hdd is formated more than once or it get the info for the last time b4 back up ... Thank u |

the issue of backup has nothing to do in here, some files will remain on the HD as "write over" so these files can be restored partially (i'm talking about small sized files and not huge ones)
in your case (stolen laptop and all security u were using) i think that it is hard to recover such data. i hope your files are big.

Well some files are so BIG
Besides its an externall HDD and i was lucky i deleted the info b4 it got stolen , but it wasnt formated just deleted. so my ques is to make sure that its hard for them to get the info back |

the big files are 99% bye bye
 the small files still have some chance to come back.

yeah kingroudy is right...only big guys like cia, nsa ( intelligence agencies), have tools to recover formatted or deleted data..so dont worry ..
