Hacking Wordpress video plugin

This is a small tutorial on how to download the embedded videos of Wordpress video plugin.
Actually I discovered this when a friend of mine asked me to download important videos from a Wordpress based website. So this was the hack:

A video link can be like the following:
http://v.wordpress.com/mi8XL1TI
http://v.wordpress.com/wp-content/pl...8XL1TI&ver=1.6

Now we need to know how that URL is being parsed on the server and then loaded in our browser.
We notice that gid parameter which is in our case "mi8XL1TI" (Every video has a gid).

Now after tampering the HTTP requests while the video is beginning to load, we figure out that the file responsible for parsing the requests and loading the videos is:
http://v.wordpress.com/wp-content/plugins/video/video-xml.php

Now all we need to do is to pass the gid of our video as parameter to for this file:
http://v.wordpress.com/wp-content/plugins/video/video-xml.php?guid=mi8XL1TI

Voila! All the information about the video is showed in an XML style! Now all what we need to do is to check the tag called "movie_file" to find the video source.

The source file for this video is:
http://cdn.videos.wordpress.com/mi8XL1TI/embedding-youtube-h264_dvd.mp4

*Note that the videos extension is MP4.

nice one...i didnt try it on youtube, but does it work????
coz the youtube changed their extensions and youtube downloader is no more working..any solution???

No relation between my method of downloading wordpress embedded videos and youtube videos.

i post information about videos but u didnt speak about hackers who work and stole everything using ip adress or mask ip or sending a trojan using a picture ...
