Default HD problem

Hi i have an external HD that contain 80 GB of music
the problem is i can see all the music files and folders but when i attempt to open it it give me an error (media player, real player, winamp or else is not working) i guess the files are corrupted
is there any program to fix them or did i lost 80 GB of music???

-check their size from properties
-try copying them to the pc hd and run them from there.

What is the error that ur getting? What does it say?

it says:

If you want I can give you "Hard Drive Recovery software" it might work to fix errors. Thats all I can think of now!
