Let's create a chatroom!!

Hello there, i haven't sleep all night long, so don't be surprised if i delete the thread 5 minutes later lol.

Anyway, i was thinking... since we got a good number of programmers in VC i was wondering why don't we create something nice like an instant chatting tool with an online (browser) and offline (desktop application) clients connecting through sockets to a VPS.

I can take care of the Server (Linux) as well as the server core script which is gonna be PHP based. Someone should take care of the online client tool and someone else for the offline one.

I said "one" because that's the minimum we need to be able to do the job. Everyone is invited, everyone can join us and no need to be a programming guru, it's an educational project after all and we will all come out with a really nice experience especially with the mix of many languages and networking.

Keep in mind that the project will be progressing slowly at least from my part.

What dont we make this an open source project/educational this way we can document our work and teach people at the same time

I can take care of the license stuff "GNU/GPL",ready to be a part of the project too.
don't mind being a part of any section. I prefer working on the online interface tool since i am more experienced in this part, xcoder i would like to contribute with server side programming as much as i know, since its an educational purposes project.

Let the project be Named: "Vcode Project" what do u think ?!
