yeah it should work man, why not!

first: check the driver if it is for the same device u were installing, if it is try it on another pc you might have a hidden problem in your computer or bad sectors on your hard drive
second: to reclame your files:
(if its showing you that acess is denied)
1-show hiddenfiles and folders
2- go to tools--folderoptions-- view-- scrolldown and remove the thing called: simple file sharing
3- go to the file : your documents (on c not on D)
right click on it/propreties/security/advanced/owner/select the new owner of the file and check the box taht say: replace owner..
wait for the computer to finish, to acess every file it is showing you this on you have to do the same way

when you finish backing up your files, restart and enter in safe mode(if you can ) to the installation on drive c, go to the hardware manager and delet the thing you have installed that caused your problem, and uninstall everysoftware related to it then it should work. if it doesnt the you try to reformat (dnt lose your backup) and start over again, dnt leave 2 os on the system (bidi3).

man i wonna keep the current windows on D:\ , i wonna remove the windows on c:\, but i want the msn emotions and dp's and things related to msn , to move them to here, how can i do that??
also how can i remove the windows from c:\??

as far as i know u cant save the emoticons... sorry about that.

Actually u can delete a windows copy without having to format the drive. U need to go to msdos, and try the "del3" command. But i wouldnt recommend deleting windows that way, alot of stuff get messed up.

man you can't have a single operating system on D ... the operating system should be on C ... you can have another one on D ... but you can't have one on D without having one on C

No abousoun, i think you are wrong cuz when you create partitions (when installing windows), you can choose any of the partitions to install windows on. and the labels: C, D, E... are given before installing windows.
