I don't even know why this subject is being discussed. There are more stuff that are influencing kids and hurting them than toy guns and parades for supporting the resistance that symbolizes heroism for them.

you teach them 3a ad rasson >>>>>> ya3nni when their family is killed in a brutal air attack we tell them it is SUPERMAN or SPIDERMAN. You both cant seem to understand that they grow up in this entourage and they were raised in a WAR ZONE. The south is a war zone not Disney land, people get killed everyday by bombs left from israelis airplanes in form of toys. the UN goes to schools to teach these poor kids how not to touch these cluster bombs. It is nice what you are saying but you seem to forget that they are under direct fire. Please wake up |

Well if you want to discuss the topic from a generalized point of view, children should be away from any sight of cruel act ...
but if we are discussing this picture, we should discuss the circumstances of this pic ... If this pic was taken in switzerland i'll say what the hell they are doing ?!!! eno why they are dressed like this and walking in a parade? what's the reason ? but as i said in my first post ... in lebanon it's normal (and some other arabic countries) In a country where children where raised on the sound of canons, tell me what you gonna say to those kids ? till when you are going to tell them these are fireworks ? and they'll be over soon ? when a child sees such horrible thing ... ![]() are his parents brainwashing him ? are his parents tell him hate that and love this ? lak for god sake he doesn't have parents anymore !!!! you talk like if we are living in the "al madina el fadila taba3 aflaton" ... i said in an earlier post "el ensein ebn bi2to" that's literature 101, you'll see the son of village writes poetry about his village and the son of city writes poems about his city ... it's all about the bi2a ... provide a good bi2a for those kids and then let's discuss this issue Quote:
1700 young graduates who were just like those little kids, graduated few months ago in the biggest ceremony for graduates lebanon had ever have ... do you think that they dropped their education because they beleive, why should i study the enemy gonna kill me or i'll get my self martyred? i was raised on such a belief, and i like to think that wssolt la ma7al bi7ayete ... el 3atra 3alli ba3d ma wessil ... Quote:
... wait wait i know ... you have a friend in da7yeh and he told you this and he is proud of that ![]() All of us are brainwashed in some sort of way ... so instead of throwing accusations right and left ... work on yourselves ... and ask yourselves are we different from those ? are we better than them ? Thank You ...

mandy it's wrong to show ur child ur political side ... coz usually kids at young age wana b like their parents ... and if they always hear bashing a party and honoring another they'll grow up with the same idea ... But if they hear about parties at school they'll be hearing many point of views ... coz as we all know that school is a socialising place ... so can find men kel shi ...u can tell ur kids about all parties and tell then the TRUTH not what u think ... and the biggest prob in lebanon that kel shi runs in the familly ... and its wrong ... those kidss have the right to choose who they wana b with ... and dont tell me that when they grow up they ll choose coz all of their lifes they heard their parents bashing other parties so how can they another party ... ma they only heard about 1 party's positif stuff ...
And when it comes to the south's case... a kid bayo w 3amo w khayo died fighting israel .. shou bi adim iza bet labsou badlit jesh/ Hezeb w bet mashou 3a tari2 holding a gun ? what if this kid when he grows up ma bedo ykoun a soldier ? what if he grows up and wanted to be a hippy ? ( PEACE!) he cant ! coz he was raised to be a soldier n to die like his father coz "this is the right thing to do" or when u raise ur kids with the idea of "americans are bad" and this kid gets a gr88888 chance to work in an american company and he gets a gr8 salary .. do u think he'll take it ? no he wonT ! coz he learned that "americans r bad"(which is not the case coz it's all abt politics and americans r not bad ... it's the regime just like in syria but anyways)and instead of living a proper life with a gr8 future he'll turn out to be a soldier who'll die in the south and who's kids will learn to hate america and die in the south just coz the parents decides so ... BTW a kid with a gun is not a cute thing to c ... if he's already sad because of his parents dying the right thing to do is try 2 cheer him up with kids games and stuff his age and not give him a gun and ask him to yente2im la ahlo .. this is barbarian .. sorry ... |

you are still missing the big point in this issue which is "LEBANON" Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
who said that everyone of these kids will become a soldier ? you are having this missconcept ... that every kid in this parade will become a fighter and he will kill or get killed ... if you read my earlier post you'll know how many college graduates they have from doctors, lawyer, engineers, teachers, etc ... and most of these kids were raised in such a way i guess ... being mouqawim is not only holding a gun you know ... and this rocket the girl is holding can represent a sthetoscope, a pen, a hammer ... Quote:
and then you went back to the soldier issue discussed above Quote:
and the barbarian thing is what's happening to them, the bloody scenes they got to see ... 2 kids same age, one lived all his years in usa, the other was raised in lebanon are gathered in the same house ... on the sound of a bullet, the first kid wet his pants, the second kid was sleeping ... i said earlier put them in a different bi2a and let's discuss this issue Thank You ...
